This workshop provides an introduction to StreetGolf – a format that aims to bring golf to young people regardless of their access to traditional facilities.
In conjunction with StreetGames and The Golf Foundation, the workshop has been designed by young people, for young people. Participants learn about the how to get the most out of golf equipment in an urban environment, receive safety advice and simple game formats to enable them to support young people to explore golf in their local community.
Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers.
Course prerequisites: There are no compulsory prerequisites for this workshop. It offers the chance to build on skills previously gained through courses such as the Sports Leaders UK 1,2 and 3 awards; national governing bodies of sport awards; and youth and community qualifications.
If booking a whole course, this course requires a minimum of 10 learners and can support a maximum of 20 learners.
