Sport England’s Together Fund is designed to help local community organisations recover and grow following the pandemic.
Sport England’s Together Fund is a continuation of the Tackling Inequalities Fund that was set up in April 2020 as part of Sport England’s support package to help the sport and physical activity sector through the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis. The fund is designed to help organisations ‘recover and grow’ following the pandemic, aiming to support local deliverers to minimise the impact of COVID-19 and the cost of living crisis on activity levels in underrepresented groups.
StreetGames are using this fund to support community organisations to provide attractive, varied and vibrant sporting offers for the young people in the underserved communities in which they work. In this final phase of the fund, StreetGames have supported over 100 community organisations to deliver life enhancing Doorstep Sport to young people in their local area.
